The AAOMPT Cardon Rehabiliation Grant has supported the research of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists since 2003. Applicable topics include diagnostic studies, effectiveness studies of OMPT interventions, and investigative studies in motor control or pain science.
Sponsored by Cardon, the Adopt-a-Doc Scholarship has supported the research of the Academy of Physical Therapy Education since 2019. The purpose of the Adopt-A-Doc program is to increase the number of doctorally prepared PTs and PTAs by providing financial support to Academy members who are in the dissertation phase of their post-professional doctoral programs.
